MCN Health Programs move to new locations

Programs provide improved accessibility for patient care

OKMULGEE, Oklahoma — A few departments within the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Department of Health made a move to a new location and reopened their services on Oct. 1.

The new location for Okmulgee MCN Diabetes Prevention Program, Pediatrics and Women’s Clinic will be the Vierson Building, which is located behind the MCN Medical Center.

MCN Health Administrator Kara Lee said this move would help promote accessibility to patient services.

Diabetes Prevention Program Manager Dewayne Tiger mirrored those sentiments.

“Our patients will have easier access to our program with the parking and walking into our building,” he said.

For several years DPP has been in a modular building behind the Okmulgee Indian Health Center.

Contact information for the clinics remain the same.
