MCN Health Expands Women’s Health Services to Okemah
OKEMAH, OK — The Muscogee Nation Department of Health is proud to announce the expansion of Women’s Health services to Creek Nation Community Hospital in Okemah, increasing access to care for patients in the southern region of the Muscogee Reservation.
Tayler Leef, PA, is now seeing patients in Okemah on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Patients will need a referral or order from their primary care provider to schedule an appointment.
“Patients are no longer having to commute,” said Tayler Leef, PA. “A lot of them are moms, juggling busy schedules and caring for their families — and too often, they end up putting their own health to the side, which means putting off important screenings or annual exams.”
This expansion is part of MCN Health’s ongoing effort to improve access to high-quality, culturally competent care across the Reservation.
“I’m from this area and spent 19 years here, so being back in the clinic, seeing familiar faces, and bringing this closer to home means a lot to me,” Leef added.
