Well-known experts on diabetes, health, and nutritional knowledge have been invited to share their expertise with the citizens of the Muscogee Nation.

The summit will include:

This event is primarily for MCN citizens, their spouses, and significant support persons. However, American Indians living within the Muscogee Nation Reservation are also welcome to attend.

Featured Presenter: Dr. Gershon Koshy

Dr. Gershon Koshy is an interventional cardiologist at OSU Medical Center with specialized expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiovascular and vascular conditions. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine, a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine, and advanced fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology, all at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Dr. Koshy specializes in the management of coronary artery disease, including complex and high-risk cardiac interventions, as well as the treatment of peripheral arterial disease through advanced endovascular procedures. His clinical interests also include chest pain evaluation, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and the treatment of venous thromboembolism, including blood clots affecting the legs and lungs. He is a member of both the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians, reflecting his commitment to excellence and ongoing advancements in cardiovascular care.
